Space Fantasy: The Ride, new (Mack Spinner?) for USJ

I realise it's a bit tricky to tell, but is the black floor to the left of the trains in the picture perhaps a 'magic carpet' similar to the one found on Hollywood: Rock Rip Ride Film It Breakdown Breakrun thingy at Universal Studios Florida? Can anyone who's been on that ride confirm?

Anything to increase the capacity of the ride is a good thing...
 
Well if its ops are anything like Hollywood Dream they'll be fine, that thing eats people like no other coaster I've seen. They do also seem to have gone for shock and awe with the number of trains, there seems to be about a thousand of them, that should help :p
 
Four and a half minutes... that's approximately 270 seconds. Divide 585 metres by that, and you get... about 2.17 m/s. That is 7.8 km/h on average. Walking speed is 6 km/h.

Though, I guess speed and forces come second in line when riding this. The overall experience should be quite awesome.
