Superman: Ride of Steel... 2?

Ugh Bizarro.
Is it just me or does anyone actually know who Bizarro is? Should I know, or is it just a name comic book freaks know? Ugh, I had to go to wikipedia to find out.
It is, ironically, such a Bizarre name!

The only reason I knew who Bizarro was was because I use to watch the old Superman animated TV show (1997+). It seems like they are picking a name opposite of what Ride of Ste.. excuse me, Bizarro is.
Ride of Steel:
1)Graceful
2)Majestic
3)Sleek
4)Smooth
5)Great Colors

Bizarro (character)
1)Blubbering
2)awkward
3)sounds like he his a retarded 6 yrs. old
4)can't fly to save his life
5)about as smooth a 40 grit sandpaper
6)Colors varies from artist to artist, but they all are ugly

Time to bump this up a bit I guess.

What do ya think of the lights?

I agree with Ben it totally reminds me of BaaBar in Manchester. Both deansgate locks and gayvillage bars have these tacky lights.
All we need now is a kylie or Madonna track blaring out of a ****ty sound system!

The lift hill support lights are really nice, I think. The logo tunnel things have a bit many colors perhaps, but I really like what they did with the supports. Hoping to get a better idea of all of this once it's open.

Arrrgh see that is the sort of theming style I hate, since when does going through a superman/bizzaro logo shaped frame with neons constitute creating a theme? What's the story? Are we going on a flight with Bizzaro through a brighly lit monument to himself?

Recently people have slated the theming on rides like Saw, but at least in that case everything is actually relevant.

There is no story. They are theming the ride to the name, nothing more.

And I'd hardly call this theming.. more like.. a bunch of stick ons to make the ride prettier.

Nothing more, nothing less.

If that's not bad enough, the flames don't look close to the ride at all. Looks rather pathetic IMO.

^From what I've heard, the flames are REALLY hot, so hot that you can feel the heat if you're waiting for like the back 3 rows.

The flames are beyond hot & can be felt in the queue, station & especially on the train as it flies by. If they were any closer riders would have a case of hair singe.

I think the theming looks pretty good, unnecesary in my opiniong, but looks good. The audio track however sounds incredibly annoying. I got a headache just listening to it on the pov.

On a side note, I found the is pov, which I can see is from coasterforce, on screamscape. I must be looking in the wrong spot but I don't see it mentioned anywhere on here. Also thought it was funny screamscape credits SFNE Online for the video not CF.

That reminds me, did anyone else come across this 'preview' POV that someone did...I thought it was funny.

^^It's ECGs video. ScreamScape didn't credit him, which I guess is their policy unless contributors ask to be credited. His Former Medusa video is also up there. They were both posted in the "Medusa vs. S:ROS Bizarro"-thread.

And I agree with the ScreamScape guys, great job getting the audio good and wipe the lens after the mist sections!
