Oooh - got two lift offers now - One coming from cardiff, and one just round the corner - probably makes sense to go for the less faff option, but if one of you already has a premium pass to get free parking, then might be better to use the one without - (is it show your pass on the way out to get the free parking then?)

I just have the standard MAP so no free parking, and yep you pay (or show pass) on the way out

Travelodge booked somewhere along the M3, 2 for 1 voucher searched out earlier today, good to go. Looking forward to it, been a while since we've been to Thorpe.

For anyone wanting to avoid the extortionate parking charge, i'd definitely recommend parking here instead of the main car park and walking in. I've been parking on this road multiple times over the last year without any issue.
