It's deffinitely on there, on the labels on the crates - I would link to the picture but I'm doing this from the iPhone so I'm restricted!

(never actually officially named a 'Secret Weapon' like the B&M coasters of Alton's past were btw- idiots note)
Just to clear this up - I though Alton themselves have used 'SW6' in their own literature for this ride?

I have not seen this anywhere, but if anyone can provide proof I'll be happy to admit I'm wrong.

Ummm...

I think what happened, and this is a first- is that even tho this project was never officially confirmed as SW6, because the enthusiasts adopted this name for it, AT thought we may as well refer to it the same way.

Could be true really, but most of that will be done in closed season, when nobody is around.
As well as it not being as public it makes construction work easier with a quiet environment.

I wish there was a better point to view the area of the ride from. Rita seems to get in the way of half the photos.

It's good not to see and know all. I'd rather be left with a little teaser than know everything and see everything.

In less disgusting terms, this is exciting news.
Esactly one year on from the Corkscrew anouncement. Nice touch.
I'd like to keep as much as possible secret while still feeding the part of me craving every little detail.
Supports confirm tire lift hill; there is no room for a chain return and a cable has to come straight from the station anyway.

Hopefully they keep the world's first feature under wraps. Not build the inside section right in the busiest time of the season

Is...

and a cable has to come straight from the station anyway.

What's causing this discussion?

Shall I highlight something?

and a cable has to come straight from the station anyway.

Which would be...

http://rcdb.com/977.htm?p=3795
http://rcdb.com/3799.htm?p=21763
http://rcdb.com/1565.htm?p=4523
http://rcdb.com/594.htm?p=3704

Which all have one thing in common, the lift is right out of the station!

This isn't because a cable lift HAS to be, it just has to be somewhere where they can stop the train so it can attach (a lot like with an accelerator that doesn't launch out of the station), but, it makes sense to save time.

Obviously, I doubt this thing will have a cable lift for a lot of reasons (it's like, 20ft high for one)

So, yeah...
