A giant gyro swing to replace Slammer would be a welcome addition.

Seriously. Get rid of Vortex and ring up Intamin to build a replacement. Something like Loke but swinging towards/over the lake would be fantastic.

Demolition is well underway, the first building to be removed is the old ice cream unit. The food unit that sold Curly Fries / The Mill Grill is currently being removed, also signs for Creek Freak have been removed from the building.





Fences that stopped access to loggers leap are slowly being removed. Wonder what day they will knock loggers down


The train station has started to be cleared as well as the train shed which has started to have its rails and sleepers removed.




The Railway trains have disappeared from the site leaving just the carriages behind.

Depressing they had to destroy such a lovely area. Had so much character and then was slowly destroyed.

RIP Canada Creek

Part of me is excited to see this roller coaster dominate the skyline, but part of me thinks that there were better places to put it (a la island next to The Swarm) and Canada Creek could have somewhat been saved as a nice family area.

However, in the sorry state it's been in since Loggers was shuttered it's probably better to leave it in the fond memories of the past.

Alas, tis no more.

Loggers was long gone and a dam shame it was left to rot for so long, Thorpe should have sorted this out ages ago. A sad moment yet a positive visible step forwards.
