Anyway, the reason there's been no construction over the week-end was probably because it's the week-end and I think the workers get the week-end off...

And the track is in the water as The Swarm is getting a water splash.

Looking good!

Its such a rare sight to see a new lift hill climbing that high in the UK!

Can't wait to see how this first diving loop looks now, love how it is going to be head first over the water aswell by the looks of it.

Sorry, you can't see it in the pics, but they have also started building the station properly. Some stone work is going up at the back.

I agree with the fact that the supports really are gobbling up the island so far, I hope it doesn't take the effect of the plane away!

The track isn't in the water anymore, and they wash the track with a power hose before putting it up, watched thm doing that last week, they even get cloths and brushes aout and give it a really good clean before they attach it to the crane harness....

It is exciting to see the pictures of the new Swarm. I've never been to Thorpe Park ever before, but hopefully I'll be able to go there next year to ride this coaster.

It appears that more of the drop has been constructed.

And guess what piece of track this is:

And this turn here is very banked! trains will be so close to the water... kinda hints that there is some sort of water feature involved. (which was assumed)

Oh wow, the flip at the top is a lot tighter than I was expecting. For some reason I thought it was going to be a lot more drawn out, almost more like Furius Baco's. Maybe it's just that it's taken very slowly.

Also the low level turn is going to be great! Each time more pictures come out I get more and more interested in this project. I really REALLY hope they pull off the theming too!

To me, it doesn't look like there is enough space between the lift hill and the drop so far to put in the twist at the top. I know there is, but it looks like it will be extremely tight, like Hixee said.

Haha, it is pretty small!

Apparently the fish was closed today, because of how close that support and the first drop is to it. (With cranes in stuff hovering over aswell) ........ Stupid safety measures these day's


And Hixee, does this picture make it look less of a tight twist?

I really hope there isn't too much hangtime as it flips because that would spoil the ride imo. I hate hangtime. Hopefully it'll be a quick, split-second transition. Judging by the distance between the lift hill and drop, it'll have to be quick!
