No they don't, on both counts, I don't know how many times I can say it. Just look at how they operate.

You have no idea how they work and they're not getting a Flyer

Well, ideas live on sometimes. And besides, if the public want it, they almost have to have it,

The public where I work want us to save a 22,000 tonne aircraft carrier from the scrapyard as an attraction merely because it be 'good to have' does that mean they'll get it? No, it's totally impractical, costs too much money, and no idea the amount of work that goes on to operate/maintain etc.

Not quite the same I know....

Well, this thread got shot down... Thank Ben for that.

Due to recent events, I shall be deleting this thread because I don't want condescending little idiots like him to trample my ideas and dreams like what happened in Jekyll and Hyde. There are 24 more hours left before this thread gets taken down.

Thank you, Ben. Thank you for wasting an hour of my time. I'll pay you back, don't worry.

I'm happy enough with the fantasising, that's part of what's fun about being an enthusiast, but it needs to be met half-way. If you're making these mock-ups, then you need to

accept that they're only your thoughts and people are likely to be able to pick holes in them quite easily - especially if you haven't really done the work. Likewise, if

you're being critical try to find the balance of being honest and being rude.

Either way, it needs to be a conversation not an argument.

Won't be deleted, but locked instead.

If you want to have a serious (yet open) conversation about Thorpe will get next, either start a new topic or PM me and I'll unlock this one.
