I agree with Jerry as far as love seats go. At least you can make love on a love seat, unlike the one you showed (unless you're really crafty or flexible..)

Both types come from the 17th Century. As we all know, people didn't "get up to that kind of thing" back then.

The wider loveseat wasn't called that and was originally simply a larger single chair for a lady with a large dress to be able to sit on without crushing her expensive clothing.
