Considering I won't be getting any new coasters this season, this is roughly my top twenty now, a bit rearranged between 10-20. Things with a star next to it is new in my top ten for the 2009 season. I based it on, if two rides were sitting next to eachother and I could only ride one, which would I choose? I didn't base it off which is the best ride overall, just simply which one would I rather ride again based off of anything:

I don't have my official list on my computer but I think I finally have like, a top twenty that agrees with every list I've ever made such as, favourite woodies, favourite hypers, etc.. They were all contradicting my top 20 list so I made it so that they no longer do. Shivering Timbers is a bit iffy though, I didn't know where to put it.
 
I've had a little bit of a reshuffle, and have come up with a list that I'm equally as unhappy about as before...

:lol: I laughed at this; but I'm quite intrigued by your taste in coasters. Either way No Way Out shouldn't be deserved in a top 1000 never mind a top 10; Buffalo Coaster is acceptable though.

How do you manage an enjoyable ride on X though? I need answers! :eek:

For those of you at the Euro Live - Mammut (Tripsdrill) came in at #37 (last year's Live) & Falken at #53 (out of 81 wooden coasters ridden).
 
Falken wasn't that bad. And I'm not sure how you think FvN is better than Black Mamba.
Oh well. Wouldn't it be boring if we all thought the same. :)
 
The problem Ollie is once you do some coasters in the USA is very hard to find ones better in Europe and the UK.

That is what I have found anyway.

I think I have 1 uk coaster in my top 10 and only Colossos (Heide Park) from the Euro Live made my top 10. It took the no 1 spot.

Falken was that bad, but there are 189 coasters that I've ridden that are worse. :wink:
What I judge my rankings on is "Which coaster do I most want to ride on again right now if I could". If Black Mamba were to my left & FvN to my right, I would be heading right before heading left. Simple as...
 
^ That's actually just how I started ranking my coasters. I was having too much trouble determining which one was better so I just thought, if I had one chance to ride one of these again, which would I rather go on?

It helps loads :p .

EDIT- Whoa, I am soo lost.. I just did my spreadsheet and according to it I have been on 127 coasters but my coaster count on every other site is saying 125.. I may have accidentally doubled or something but I can't spot where I went wrong or what I am missing so it is driving me nuts. I came up with individual steel/wood lists like Jerry did:

I'd say this is a pretty 'official' list for me. It doesn't change around too much, it's just above 30 when it starts to get a little out of order.
 
^ Whoa, Beast's ranking is a bit unfortunate! I thought it was an amazing ride, did you ride it at night?

Jake, wow, X2 at #2? I knew you liked it, but didn't know you liked it that much. I decided I have to ride Terminator though.. It's ranking pretty high for everyone.
 
^ Yes I rode it at night, after 10:00 in the back seat. It was definitely better than during the day and an amazing experience, with probably the best ending on a coaster ever, but the ride was pretty rough and the trims and second lift really killed the insane pacing and speed the ride could have had. Besides, for a coaster to only be good at night...it deserved to be marked down.

Also, if you do ride Terminator, don't get your hopes up too high. It's a really fun ride with pretty good theming but it is very short and only has one small pop of airtime, even when riding it 14 times during ERT including at night. My guess is that it will rank very highly on this year's Mitch Hawker poll but only because it's the best woodie to ever to come to SoCal and it's pretty much everyone's favorite woodie here unless you've gotten out of the state. Again, it's definitely a fun ride, I just don't think it's GCI's best.
