I hit that Autosled between La Ronde and Canada's Wonderland.
I was glad that I did. It's weird and fun.

If you have the time I also recommend hitting up Zero Gravity (in Dallas) if you like free fall or other thrill rides. We went there on a discount day to get the unlimited ride wristbands & hit the park up at opening & then went back at night to do everything again.

:p indeed..... The back-burner trip would be along the lines of
Six Flags Over Texas
Sandy Lake Amusement Park
State Fair of Texas (September 27, 2013 - October 20, 2013)
Dallas Zoo
Zero Gravity Thrill Park
SpeedZone Dallas
and if OKC doesn't happen on its own -
Frontier City
Oklahoma City Zoo and Botanical Garden

I wish I could possibly fit in a 1 day Carowinds trip somewhere in my Tennessee trip, but anyway...

Dollywood in late May (P)
Carowinds in early June (M)
AquaTrax gave me an idea to celebrate Christmas at Walt Disney World and hit White Lightning and Freedom Fighter at Fun Spot America. We'll see about that. Btw thanks AquaTrax for the idea. :) (M lean P)

M=Maybe and P=Positive

So now I'm possibly taking a working trip to Efteling. I'm pretty excited for it to be totally honest :D

Oh. I guess I forgot to add Six Flags America to my NY/ON trip (I'm flying Multi-Stop to meet me family in DC for a few days.. so have pass, will use)

My cousin has confirmed our plans for our family road trip in July. We're leaving on the 20th early in the morning for Hershey. Spending the day at Hershey and spending the night there as well. The next day we head to Kennywood spend the day at Kennywood then head to our hotel in Sandusky. We will spend the 22nd at Cedar Point all day and the 23rd my cousin and I will spend all day at Cedar Point while the rest of our family goes to the football hall of fame. We will probably do some more in Ohio before we head home and on the way home we are stopping at Knoebels to break up the drive home. Not sure what day exactly we will be at Knoebels.

I'm definitely going to the US for a few days in the summer which I'm really excited about. Visiting SFGAdv, Dorney, NYC and possibly stopping off in Philadelphia - is there anything worth seeing here from anyone who's been before?

My friend and I have decided to not go on any trips this year except for some danish coaster openings, as we want to go on a big US tour in 2014! - I'm really excited about it and it's gonna be our very first visit to the US.

In terms of parks, if you'll be in this area hit Hershey Park. If there's not enough time I'd say it over Dorney. That's a nice place and I like it but Hershey is a GREAT park!
NYC is a great place, have fun!

Forgot about Flying Turns and its maybe possibly happening this year
If it does though, I need to hit Knoebels. At least because its been 11 years since I've been there and I was too small to enjoy Phoenix (thought I was gunna fly out and die).

I'm trying to put together a European trip with the Family_Furie this year (probably May time) to celebrate my 40th.

There's currently major discussion over Efteling, Europa and Disney. Madame_Furie is desperate for Disney, I'd love to see what Efteling has to offer, but I think Europa is the park we'd all get the most out of (every attraction there is something everybody would enjoy).

Biggest issue of course is cost. Doing trips if there are two of you is expensive, but for four, it's ridiculous - so it may well be Devon and Big Sheep instead

I've been saving some money for quite a while so I'm planning to go to the US and visit Six flags Great Adventure, Dorney Park, Hershey park and cedar point (that one will be for two days).
Hope that everything goes according to planned.

I don't have that many plans as of now. I will go to Vietnam for 2months (uni study trip) in about a week and try to get a few random credits and hopefully also make it to Hong Kong or Singapore. Other than that I really have to ride Twister at Gröna Lund (seeing as it's only like 45 miles away from where I study). I'm pretty close to go to exchange to Belgium next semester and if I get there I'll try do a few parks, that's all I can think of right now.

This is my first post here, so figured I would start off in the "Trip plans 2013" thread. I am planning on hitting a few parks this year for my coaster summer.

Silver Dollar City for the opening of Outlaw Run, and then off to Worlds of fun to capture the credits I didn't get since the last time I was there. I am planning on attending Holiwood nights, and then a trip to Cedar Point is in order as well to check out Gatekeeper. I am contemplating hitting Great America for my birthday so I can get the X-Flight credit as well, but thats not set in stone at all. will be hitting my home park SFSTL often this year since I am not planning on traveling as much as I did last summer.

Still hoping to get to SDC and Texas but still looks unlikely.

Cedar Point is a definite but no dates yet. Same with Seabreeze, Darien Lake, Waldameer, Martin's Fantasy Island, and Canada's Wonderland.

Hoping to get to Knoebels and Hershey as well.

Trying to convince the family or going to Six Flags New England to but that seems unlikely.

So, since my Canada Trip is now starting on the 30th of May, anybody have any suggestions on where to stay?

Should I stick close to Wonderland or stay in/near the city?

Also, I guess an update is in order since stuff has changed enough.

May 12/13 will be the US live if it is those dates
May 30-June 2 will be Darien Lake, Canadas Wonderland, Martins Fantasy Island and Seabreeze
June 28th-July 1st will be SFNE, SFGAdv, Hershey and SFA.
Then possibly the Texas live with a few add-on stops (SDC and SFStL) for me if it happens lol.

Let me know when you plan to go Seabreeze. I will see if I can swing by.

After the first (non-coastery) trip completed this year, the possible trips for this year are:
~ spring weekend in Vienna
~ Barcelona (last week of April - hitting PortAventura and possibly Tibidabo)
~ (exchange with Danish students from Horsens, possible visit to Legoland, June)
~ last week of June (possible trips: Crete (Greek island), England (two week travel around the country), Germany (Europa Park area)
~ (school trip to Paris, checking Jardin d'Acclimatation)
~ Autumn trip to Munich, visiting Oktoberfest and Skyline Park, possibly Bayern Park

Lets wait and see :)

So plans are shaping up a bit more now. Now it looks like this:

March 14th - Thorpe
March 20th - Chesstington
April - possibly some sort of Devon/Cornwall camping thing
May - Sweven/Scotland Bank Holiday trip
June - Possibly a day trip somewhere such as LegoLand Billund or Phantasialand. Somewhere in Europe anyway
July - Orlando
August - Russia & Finland
September - Blackpool Live if it gets moved, if not then probably nothing
October - Ghosterforce and some other Halloween stuff. I want to do Madrid but will look at my funds and decide.
November/December - May have *something* up my sleeve, but who knows ;]
