Wow!, there's a lot of quality in these creations, i hope one day i can do the same! Ive learned a lot of 3ds in google sketch up but i dont have any time to progress my knowledge into anything, but i have plans on finishing superman ride of steel, which i think the track is 95% accurate (5% off because of the dimensions didn't fit the editor) and starting to recreate goliath.

I've started adding supports for Joyride. I'll be jumping around with these a bit, as the lattice will take a while. Here's a small section:

There's three trains, the crimson you see in there, a green, and purple. Colors are final, except for a minor change with the supports.

Unclearly - That looks really good! "Lush" as its called ;)

Rollerdude - That looks good aswell, Really big to, and smooth!

My latest project and i WILL finish this one!,

Echo... A B&M Hyper (First)

^I think the pre-drop is a little large. That is how it seems in the video anyway.

Here's the start of my goliath project =), well, the colors are not the final ones and i just begun it. heres a pic:

Recreation or inspiration? I guess the latter, as you said you're going to change the colours. Looks promising anyway.

Myself, i got the inspiration for a hyper the other day, and made one just to remind myself why I shouldn't. Ran out of ideas after half an hour, deleted the coaster, and continued on my ski coaster project. Which still is a rough, brutal nightmare of a ride.

^I always find that to be the problem with hypers. I've got a great first half, then just run out of ideas and ditch it. It's really annoying.

^^So far it looks quite similar to Goliath, however it could just be a Goliath inspired first drop, hill and bend.

i'm really trying to recreate it, yes, but for that i can't start doing it all at once, because then I'll get impatient and start making it stink, but i hope it comes out good, i think it will be ready next week, if i dont put in 3ds, because thats my bad side

Those supports are awful. They don't look anything like Intamin ones. It needs a connecting rod to the track to the main support beam.

Can see there are support connections. You need to put these into them. Can't just have the main beam literally resting against the ride, it looks ****.

Yes I know... lol

I haven't gotten around to doing that. Thats actually the next thing that I was going to do.

EDIT:

Fixed. I am going through all the supports to double check everything and fix them.

^ plus you should take out the red rails and make them the same colour as the rest of the track. Just like EVERY other Intamin in the history of everything in the world. Some people use the excuse "oh thats just the wear of the coaster wheels on the track" but it wouldnt make it red so theres no excuse there =)

And if you do really want red, then maybe make the supports red instead? That'd look funky. Or even make the whole track red! But thats been overdone seventy billion times. Just no two coloured track. =)

Your OCD is about to explode isn't it.

With the Front done it's time to move to the back. The Back will begin with a second 60mph launch into the back and hidden terrain of the map. Featuring high speed runs though the wilderness and an added 4 inversions to make a total of 6!

^ so far the best part of Marauder (and a train)

Thats looking really nice Jer.

And crazycoaster I agree with you that Intamins shouldn't have more than one colour for the track, it just doesnt look right on an Intamin.

Jer; were those brakes/LSM's made in a 3D creator, or is there a special setting in the game for them?

I think those colors on Blackout look fine. They look plausible, so I'd leave it.

No^. Those are the "stock" NL LSM motors. Where have you been since the past two updates?

Ignore my advice? Right. At least I know how to support a B&M.

Jer, much better with the supports. However, the corkscrew looks wonky. Would you like some help with those PIA elements? I feel your pain if you can't get them perfectly smooth.

Cc, don't cry because someone decided to color the track on their Intamin two different colors. I really wish you would stop whining over the colors of a ride. The only real thing that counts is 1: Track and 2: Supports. Other than that, nothing matters. The only reason you should color the track all one color, is if you are making a recreation. People like to "customize" their rides, and you bossing in here telling them that it looks **** because they have brown track, and red rails is really putting them down. If they want those colors, then let them be.

^Xpress has lost another 316 points in the respect grading system. CC is perfectly right to have his opinion to suggest same color tracks, as they are what every Intamin coaster is.

Anyways, I'm loving the ride, Justin. It looks like a sweet accelerator.

And Jer has once again proved that he can create a well planned layout.

Bull **** ! To make a ride realistic, like we are all aiming to be as realsitic as possible, then the colours also need to be realsitic.

I'm with CC on this. When Intamin build a ride with different coloured rails, then it'll be OK. If we're going for realism here then the colours also have to be consistant.

Xpress, you're an idiot.
