Some know what I'm working on, others don't.

Those who know, shush.

And being as I'm Joe, the creator of the strangest elements...

More on this later.

^You haven't seen the rest of it.

I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this one. I don't think I've seen a ride from you in a while. Hopefully you won't disappoint. ;)

It might just be the angle, but I reckon that first drop leads straight into a corner. Just looks like it in the picture.

That roll isn't that vertical, Xpress. You'll see in a later view if Joe posts one, and if not, in the final track.

It's a great idea. If you don't finish it, I will.

How often do you see it? Not often? Then shush.

More on the ride, we have another inversion, a vertical loop.

And some airtime hills (3) to a little sidewinder.

Some of it looks a bit bumpy, like the exit from the loop which looks quite jerky, but the layout is looking good so far.

Oh, nevermind, i know exactly what this is ;)

Nice drop. I'm using the same type of drop on mine which has been 2 years in the making. But it includes a vert launch which can be problematic. GL

Well hello again boys and girls. Did you miss me?

I've dusted this project off, working on it more. But, as promised, a name and logo.

I present:

Vertigo Jump.

"But wait!" I hear you cry (silently), "Didn't you already have a ride called that for a competition?"

Yes, yes I did. I didn't like that design so I pulled this out, and used that name.

But that logo looks so much better on the (work in progress) train.

Started supporting, starting with the lift hill and the upward roll.

Here's the beginning of the bridge at the bottom of the ravine. Hopefully will look good.

The lovely-yet-terrifying 6 second suspended track. Any suggestions for better, more realistic supports, would be nice.

More soon.

I think the pull up should be supported from undernearth maybe? So the towers don't have to take as much weight. I don't know, it's your coaster so do what you want with it! :--D

Hmm... I'm no expert on supports, but I'd build the tower taller to add more counterweight. And widen the horizontal supports under the track.

Also, make all the suspended supports horizontal. Then, you can build another banked support on top of that.

The support closest to the camera won't bear anything, by the way. Make it a lot more angled (put the "suspension point" closer to the tower)

Other than that, I like it!

Oh would you look at that.

Is it just me, or does that drop look like a hugepotential for trains to valley in?

I know NL isn't real life, but there's probably a reason why not many coasters have huge drops to below ground level, from a start position not much higher than ground level.

I was considering arguing this point, until I did some e-stop testing annnnnnnd:
Managed to valley.

As such, I added sort of an anti-rollback measure with LIMs:

In this update: SUPPORTING and some trackwork.
Here is the bridge of the water at the bottom of the valley. I'm thinking of making it a true arch for better support:

I made the tower taller and wider, making it take the load better:

Not much to say here minus SUPPORTS:

I took out the double down for an ejector hill:

And more supports:

More soonish.
