Walibi Belgium | Loup-Garou RMC conversion | 2028

Vampire is also going bye-bye after 2027. The park didn’t announce a replacement but I assume they have plans for its spot.

They said it won't be removed for no reason. So I guess it will probably be replaced by something new in the future.

There were rumors that the park might get a Vekoma Tilt Coaster in the future, but Walibi said they see no extra value for that type of coaster!

Wasn't there talk of an indoor coaster like Uncharted at Portaventura?

Or perhaps it's to build a hotel?

They have also announced that they will make some changes to the trains to improve rider comfort, which I am very happy to hear about. We used to pray for times like these haha.
Wonder if they will adopt side-less Swing-Axle trains???
Really wanna see a more “open” design for them!

Great to see new, exciting coasters being announced! It might just be me being an old frump, but it seems to me that it's becoming longer and longer between each time we see a project of this scale in Europe. In the world in general, it seems.

On the other hand, it's a bit sad to see the park down one coaster, with Vampire being removed and Loup-Garou being converted. You win some, you lose some, I guess.

The only thing that Vampire is worth if for other people to be queuing for it and freeing up queuetimes around the rest of the park. Good riddance.
While I agree vampire is not a great ride.

It is interesting that once it's gone, one of the best parks in Europe won't have a full circuit multi looper is interesting. That's surely an anomaly.

New Werewolf will I assume have more than one inversion but that's not confirmed yet and I don't think anyone would argue an RMC is a traditional looping coaster.

It is a small irrelevance but I think it's interesting.

I wonder if this closure ties in with Bellewaerde's rumoured 2028 Suspended Thrill Coaster.

Do we also think that a hotel could be built on Vampire's plot?

I've said before that, since Walibi are looking to move towards a more year-round operation, another indoor coaster would really help with that. Or even a more thrilling dark ride more broadly. The Vampire spot would be good for that in my opinion.

Wouldn't mind seeing an Intamin multidimensional coaster there, for example...
