Re: Walibi Belgium | Unknown | Mack Power Splash

There's already another topic. I'm on mobile, so I can't post other topic right now.

Those first three pictures look like they're dredging for a dead body.

Re: Walibi Belgium | Unknown | Mack Power Splash

Construction continues! A couple of days ago, the park has started the construction of a path across the lake, which will pass the ride and will make it possible to have a shortcut to the entrance of the Power Splash!

Construction of the Mack Power Splash at CSM in Belgium, who has been working with Mack for 10 years in a row. The site is constructed in one of the 4 halls with the length of a footballfield and contains 600 tons of steel.

It has also been said that the new ride will get a soundtrack from German producer IMAscore!

Today at the Walibi Belgium Fan Day, the park presented an official animated video from their Power Splash, now confirmed as 'Pulsar':

So.. how does it not 'splash' when going in reverse? Does the track suddenly sink after the boat passes over?

It is actually the waterlevel that is going up and down.

The song played in the background is the soundtrack from Pulsar by IMAscore by the way!

I'm totally confused as to how this ride works.
Surely draining and refilling the water zone hundreds of times a day would be a ridiculous way to run a ride?

Maybe the train has magnetic fins or something similar that can dip into the water when required?

I could see Drayton getting one of these things. They don't seem too expensive, have a small footprint and would fit with the tacky maritime theming already in the park.

I could see it too actually but I sure as hell don't want it, I want a Roar O Saurus clone or something similar!

To be fair, it looks quite good but a quality woodie is what Drayton needs.

Thanks guys - that makes more sense regarding the design.

It's definitely a fresh take on what is essentially a Shoot the Chute
