What's new

Walibi Belgium | Unknown | Gerstlauer Family Coaster | 2025

Their Family coasters are usually quite smooth, and their shaping was always good? I don‘t get your argument. It‘s a Gerstlauer, not a Golden Horse.
The only issue with Gerstlauer are their Thrill-coasters. With every new one, they flip a coin to see if it‘s going to be a smooth ride or if every track-joint is rough.

Oh please, there's always a lumpy-pumpy corner or two in there somewhere. Albeit I'm willing to concede that their family coasters are usually pretty excellent overall.

Not that that train looks much like a family coaster train to me, mind...

Do you mean gone, as in, rethemed or completely scrapped?

If they are going for a retheme, will they keep it enclosed or partially enclosed?
It will get a retheme and a brand new name to fit in the new themed land; Dock World!

They will keep it enclosed aswell due to noise restrictions (Psyké is located right next to a residential area!

The other thing that caught me by surprise is the fact that the park has plans to remove Vampire, the Vekoma SLC.

Other things announced is that Coccinelle, the Zierer Tivoli, will not return. It's been damaged to much after the floodings in 2021.

Fans were also raving for the RMC conversion for Loup-Garou. The park is aware that many fans would like this to happen, but there are no plans in the near future.

They're removing the vampire?!
Were you able to attend the presentation or is there a transcript of it online? Am interested !

I'm sad for la coccinelle, was one of my first coasters 🥲

Would love to have been there, but I was on holiday...

More things that have been said:

* The park is hoping to invest more in indoor rides, so they can open all your round.
* Walibi really wants to become a resort, with one or more hotels. However, it seems to be pretty difficult to get the permits they need.
* If there is one thing the park is lacking, it is one or more shows and entertainment. Jean Christophe Parent said that there are plans for shows in the near future.
* Dock World and the future coaster are not part of the investment plan that was announced back in 2017. He did not confirm it yet, but it seems the next themed land that will be renovated is Adventure World.
