North: Speed Monster, Tusenfryd, Norway
South: Star Flyer, Star City, Philippines
East: Star Flyer, Star City, Philippines
West: Giant Dipper, Belmont Park, USA
North and West are relatively basic, but reasonably pleased with South/East.
So in my short obsession with coding things in Python (following the post here), I realised that it wouldn't take much to add a maximum N/S/E/W check to the code. Therefore, please see below for a short gif showing how my furthest latitudes and longitudes have changed over time:
Please excuse the strange gif compression artefacts, still dialing that bit in.
And here's a static one of the final image:
This also tipped me off to a minor calculation error I had made before, so an update: North: Speed Monster, Tusenfryd, Norway South: Star Flyer, Star City, Philippines East: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Shanghai Disneyland, China West: Giant Dipper, Belmont Park, USA
Interesting idea! I'm not that well travelled but think this is right.
North: Helix
South: Furious Baco
East: Arthur
West: Speed: No Limits
Also does anyone have any idea what the maximum in each direction answer would be?
