I've been wondering which is best for a long time, I think it's probably Alpengeist, But I'm not sure.
 
I've only been on Raptor and a Batman clone, and the Batman clone was the better of the two. However, judging off of looks, my top five would be like this:

1-Alpengeist
2- Montu
3- Nemesis
4-Talon
5- Pyrenees
 
Well from the ones iv been on i would say nemmy but them im biast cause nemmy is my fave coaster of all time :lol: . But its forcefull from first drop to the brake run
 
Inverts

The best i've been on is Nemesis closely followed by Montu, but from the looks of them i'd say Alpengeist.
 
Being on only one invert in my life (B&M or otherwise), I can really only guess from how they look. IMO Nemesis is overrated. I think Alpie is probably the best invert out there. I might get a chance to ride it next summer, so we'll see how that vote holds up. :D
 
Seeing as I've only been on Nemesis out of that list then I'll vote for Nemesis even though It's overrated alot. But I have to agree that Alpengeist looks like the World's best B&M Invert. :)
 
Montu is the best I've been on, and IMO the best in the world. Theming is immaculate and the sheer length of the thing makes it pack a powerful punch. Not a dull moment on it. BTW, for some reason I really love the camelback.
 
It's between Montu and Alpengeist

Both look like great rides and I would like to go on both one day. However, I'm gonna say Alpengeist, just because I have heard lots of positive reviews about it and it looks amazing.
 
Alpengeist looks just stupidly big and forceless, and a fair number of reports reflect that. Plus, the second half is such a ****ing joke...

Nemesis? Don't go there.

Montu's great, but again, the second half lets it down a lot.

Katun? Please. It's just a big Raptor, and it doesn't even do as much.

The best is probably Pyrenees. It looks so ferocious. And the Batmen stand a great chance of being the most forceful. They're just ridiculous.
 
Here's how I personally rate the ones I've done.

A - Nemesis, Pyrenees

B* - Batman Clones, Duelling Dragons Ice

B - Phaethon, Montu, Nemesis Inferno, Duelling Dragons Fire

C - Raptor

D - Silver Bullet
 
I've only been on Raptor, Montu and DD's and I'd go with:

1. Montu
2. DD Ice
3. DD Fire
4. Raptor

Raptor is the only one that TRULY lets up......the 20 second pause between the two flatspins could make you yawn....

So I go with Montu, but Alpie's sheer height and speed probably brings it to the top.
 
I'll say Pyrenees and the Batman clones. I'd rather be put under prolongued, strong forces than go through huge, forceless and drawn out inversions.

First off, there can't really be a "best" since it's all opinion.

That said, Alpengeist is **** amazing. Obviously it's gigantic and blazingly fast, but thank god it's not a case of Millenium Force. There's actually more to it than the sheer size; namely, the fact that the whole ride is filled with intensity. The force is so strong that it's actually disorienting, and I got off the ride not being able to walk properly. Not to mention fantastic theming and interaction.

Love it.


And Ben, the second half is actually really good. A fun drop out of the MCBR, a really good zero-g, and the most insane corkscrew I've ever experienced round out the ride. Maybe not as good as the beginning, but in no way bad.


But I'd really like to ride some more inverts to honestly be able to call it my favorite. To be honest, the only one I think could really match it is Pyranees.

Remember.. this is all opinion.. ;)

But.. after that corkscrew.. its a BLAND helix into the brake run.. coulda finished SO much better.

Just to note.. the most insane corkscrew i've been on was Great Bears.. I loved that sucker.

The first 4 are great. 5 and 6 are decent and after that everything pretty much sucks.

Alpengeist winning a poll of COASTERFORCE?

The yanks must be taking over. This is just sillyness.

It's obviously not Alpengeist, because...

...the majority say so, basically. There is no logical reason for Alpengeist to be "underated" so unless somone can give ma a delightful reason why it's sucking at 40somthing'th place... I feel that's accurate.

Not that i think Black Mamba belongs where it was last year. But i think we'll see it fall this year... That got so overhyped.

Nemesis is overrated, but it is still amazing and it's going to get more votes than any of the others because of where it is, we know that... But it is still amazing.

Having only ridden the two British inverts, i would have thought the best inverts in the world in no particular order are; Montu, Nemesis, Katun and Pyranees. Montu, when it's MCBR isn't killing it, anyway.

I'm gunna vote for Nemesis. I think if it had been coming out first i wouldn't have voted at all, but that really is just silly.

EDIT: Also, if everyone just voted for the best one they've ridden all you get is a poll of the most ridden inverts. It's clear from the results that some people are voting which they honestly think is the best and some are just picking the best of what they have ridden. But seriously, use your brainz kids. You can't, in a poll like this, go on what you've ridden unless you've ridden all of them. :roll:
