Ok I'm done for the year, so here goes:

New creds gained: +27 (336 - 363).
My lowest new cred count since 2015 but still not bad.

New parks visited: 8
GYPB
Pleasurewood Hills
Legoland Windsor
SFDK
CGA
Adventuredome
Glenwood Caverns
Ferrari Land

Total number of park days: 14

Best new to me creds:
1. Shambhala
2. Untamed
3. Red Force
4. Railblazer
5. Fēnix
6. Goldstriker
7. Joker

Best new to me non-creds: Haunted Mine Drop and Giant Canyon Swing, both at Glenwood Caverns.

Best individual coaster lap: last ride of the night (my last coaster ride of the decade, in fact) on Shambhala with a train full of very happy CFers. Bliss!

Best non park travel moment: If I said anything other than getting married here I'd be in big trouble, so yeah, that.

Proudest achievement as an enthusiast: 50th B&M coaster - Fēnix. (Up to 53 now).

Finally, here's a few previously unseen pictures from the year's exploits:

Thanks for being part of a fab year guys. Xx

I'm choosing to ignore all that "zaniest moment" bollocks and sticking with what I shoved in here last year. The year isn't quite over for me yet. I've got a potential 11 creds in 6 parks coming up next week (realistically, I'll probably bother with maybe 8), but there's no risk of any of those affecting favourite blah blah.

Up until now then:

  • Coaster count at start of 2019: 1545
  • Coaster count at end of 2019: 1679 (could be as high as 1690)
  • New credits obtained in 2019: 134 (up to a possible 145)
  • New parks visited in 2019: 58 (up to a possible 64)
  • Revisited parks in 2019: 12
  • Favorite new ride of 2019: Hakugei. Honorable mentions to Dueling Dragons, Eejanaika, Extreme Rusher and Hyper Coaster
  • Favorite new park of 2019: Probably Sunac Guangzhou or Sunac Xishuangbanna though some of the revisited places were better
  • Highlight of 2019: Egypt - Clearly not for the coasters (although I did complete the country), but the trip was fab
  • Biggest surprise of 2019: Azerbaijan and Georgia being amazing (again, the places, not the parks)
  • Low points of 2019: Great Xingdong Tourist World - made a big effort just for this new park with 9 creds, but not a single thing was open.

Mrs. Flavors and I ramped up the goonery to the max this year and had easily our most successful yet in terms of new coasters. Still not up there with the likes of @gavin but then again, few peeps are!
  • Coaster count at start of 2019: 388
  • Coaster count at end of 2019: 485
  • New coasters ridden in 2019: 97
  • New parks visited in 2019: 28 (Universal Studios Singapore, Ferrari World, FunWorks Abu Dhabi, IMG Worlds of Adventure, Legoland Dubai, Motiongate, VR Park Dubai, Warner Bros. World, Dreamworld, Luna Park Melbourne, Luna Park Sydney, Sea World Surfers Paradise, Warner Bros. Movie World, TusenFryd, Gröna Lund, Kolmården, Liseberg, South Pier Blackpool, Calaway Park, Cultus Lake Adventure Park, Galaxyland, Playland Vancouver, Adventuredome, Lagoon, Las Vegas Mini Gran Prix, Silverwood, Washington State Fair, Wild Waves Theme & Water Park, Yellowstone Bear World)
  • Park visits in 2019: All above plus Blackpool Pleasure Beach
  • Favourite new coaster of 2019: Wildfire
  • Best Individual Coaster Lap: Being the only rider on Wildfire in the rain (Mrs. Flavors wimped out!)
  • Best New To You Non-Coaster: Transformers: The Ride
  • Favourite new park of 2019: Universal Studios Singapore
  • Best Non-Park Travel Moment: Visiting the Perito Moreno glacier in Argentina
  • Best New Person You Met: Jake, the COO of RMC who gave us a 40 minute tour of the facility when we turned up unannounced.

  • Coaster count at start of 2019: 304
  • Coaster count at end of 2019: 423
  • New credits obtained in 2019: 119
  • New parks visited in 2019: 24: Adventure World (Perth), Hansa Park, Heide Park, Dreamland, Drievlett, Duinrell, Hellendoorn, Slagharen, Walibi Holland, Movie Park Germany, Toverland, Efteling, Plopsa Coo, Walygator, Lightwater Valley, Fantasy Island, Bottons Pleasure Beach, Mirabilandia, Fiabilandia, Gardaland, Moviepark, Tusenfryd, Parque Warner Madrid, Parque de Attracciones Madrid.
  • Favourite new ride of 2019: Schwur des Karnan! The first ride in a long time that terrified me!
  • Favourite new park of 2019: Toverland
  • Highlight of 2019: Halloween at Liseberg
  • Biggest surprise of 2019: Euro Merlin parks being more impressive and well run than expected!

2020 Should be a lesser year for me but the last two were amazing

  • Coaster count pre enthusiast: 101
  • Coasters added 2017: 17
  • Coasters added 2018: 136
  • Coasters added 2019: 46
  • Total credits as of 2019: 299 ?‍♂️
  • New parks visited in 2019: Clarence Pier, Brean Theme Park, Funland at the Tropicana, Adventure Island, PortAventura Park, Ferrari Land, Blackpool Pleasure Beach, South Pier, St Nicholas Park and Six Flags Great Adventure.
  • Favourite new ride of 2019: El Toro SFGA
  • Favourite new park of 2019: PortAventura Park
  • Highlight of 2019: Family and GF trip to Disneyland Paris
  • Biggest surprise of 2019: Stampida being my second best coaster at PortAventura, and being really fun.
  • Biggest disappointment of 2019: USA October trip: I went to see a lot of family across the USA and could only go at that time in the year, due to weather, unforeseen circumstances and how late it was I got walk round a lot of parks but ride no coasters: Luna Park/Coney Island: weather, Nickelodeon Universe Theme Park: no coasters were working the one day I went, Playland Park: closed, Steel Pier: closed, Playland's Castaway Cove: closed and Morey's Piers: closed. As they live so close i wanted to walk around them even if they closed for the season, but I did get spited at Luna and nickelodeon ( at least they let me on some of the flat rides )
hope that you all have a great 2020 :D

Back home after latest trip over the new year so here's the finalised stats for 2019:

Coaster count at start of 2019: 691
Coaster count at end of 2019: 924
New credits obtained: 233
New parks visited: 48
Days spent in a theme park: 49
Favourite new ride: Skyrush
Favourite new park: Dollywood

Still managed to continue the upwards trend for new creds in a year (223 last year)
Days spent in parks was way down though, slacker (64 last year)

After a personal best 2018, 2019 broke it. Truly great year for me. Wasnt the most parks/new parks or creds but it was the best combo of quantity and quality. My top 20 (well 25) is so stacked now I struggle to rank.

  • Coaster count at start of 2019: 140
  • Coaster count at end of 2019: 177
  • New credits obtained in 2019: 37
  • New parks visited in 2019: 5 - Carowinds, SFoG, SFDK, CaGA, Lagoon
  • Days spent in a theme park in 2019: 9. The 5 above plus Cedar Point, SFMM, Universal Studios and IOA
  • Favourite new ride of 2019: Fury 325
  • Favourite new park of 2019: SFDK
  • Highlight of 2019: CA. The trip as a whole was epic, and got to do 4 parks including Lagoon and time in Salt Lake City which I'd never expect. Honorable mention to such a dead day at SFoG I got to marathon Goliath and TC. Never had this happen at a Six Flags park. They let us stay on Goliath w/o getting up. If some did come in they let us go to empty seats. 10 in a row and prob 20 for the day.
  • Biggest surprise of 2019: Lagoon. I dont feitishize small parks as much as others (though they're great) but I was surprised how much was here, and how good alot of it was. It was a bigger small park, but deff a small feel and some unexpectedly fun rides! Also: Goliath at SFoG. Wow. So much air, strong sustained floater, seconds at a time on one hill. Forceful, awesome helix. Long, smooth. Still not sure if I liked it more than TC! Real surprise.
Honorable mention: SFDK. Better than expected. Joker was brilliant, I really liked Superman, just a solid lineup and solid park. SFoG had a nicer feel than I expected.

Coaster Count January 2019: 130
Coaster Count January 2020: 168
Not as many as some people here but I'm hoping to make it past 200 this year.

New parks visited: Plopsaland de Panne, Thorpe Park, Six Flags New England, Coney Island, Dollywood
Favorite new credit: Lightning Rod
Favorite new park: Dollywood

Highlights:
First international theme park visited plus new country credit (Belgium)
Driving the Millennium Falcon.
Hagrid's Magical Motorbike Adventure
Birthday trip to Dollywood
Amazing week in NYC
Two new RMC coasters under my belt.
Finishing the year off with a zen ride on Lightning Rod. Seeing Dollywood covered in Christmas lights from the quad down is one of my favorite coaster moments ever.

Biggest surprises
Coney Island Cyclone really holds up for an 80+ year old coaster
Firebird at SFA is surprisingly good. I wasn't expecting much but I was impressed.
Thorpe Park and Plopsaland were a great way to start expanding my theme park experiences outside of the USA.
