"Zooom", Zamperla Air Force coaster for Flamingoland

What the hell is this? Surely it would have been better for FL to save this years profits from this insipid mediocre waste of space and put a half decent flat ride or coaster there.

It's to tie in with splash battle, and will have water effects, so tbh, it'll be decent enough attraction for the money. I take for granted that I am both the target market, in that the ride itself holds no interest for me, but as I have a young family, am likely to end up on it anyway...

Flamland seem to love adding as many credits as they can!
I think it's about time for a family coaster, but this is more of a kids coaster than a family one, I can see them seamlessly tying it in with the splash battle, which I think would look pretty good, though.

As for the 4D show, actual meatballs falling from above?

^ Initially it is a kiddy coaster, but this is a custom version I think, a lot longer, which could mean taller/faster etc? So you never know.

Turns out the ride is actually called... "Zooom" which is located in the new area of "Swoosh!"
Adjacent to Flip-Flop - what's there at the moment? Looks like a big shed on GoogleMaps (which is pre-Mumbo).

Yorkshire's most funstoppable holiday resort!

Funstoppable? As in "able to stop the fun"? Meaning that if you come here, we'll stop you having a good time?

Who thinks of this s**t?

It used to be the corporate tent.

I know, it's ridiculous. Remember Th13teen's first promotion on the contruction site: Fantabulous Attraction? Just no!

Who likes pictures of mud and concrete?

Another new feature, a play area near Muddy Duck Farm

It's excellent. Very Chessie, and the idea of crossing an adventure playground and a zoo (the play-frames flank meerkat and other mall animal interactive enclosures) is inspired, even if slightly borrowed. :)

Apparently when it is open fully, you'll be able to picnic with some of the animals.

Re: New Coaster For Flamingoland

Looks like a great instalment to the park!
I think it will make a lot of money for Mingo.

Re: New Coaster For Flamingoland

Just some updates, it looks like the station area has been built. Talked to someone at customer information, and they are hoping to get the coaster open by the start of July

Re: New Coaster For Flamingoland

Its taken them how long to get this far, yet they're going to have it completed in a month... :?

Re: New Coaster For Flamingoland

They still have that double inverter thing?? My friend was sick on that once

Saw some pics on Go Flamingo, and vertical construction has begun. I will head up to the park next Tuesday morning to get some pics for CF (as I have other priorities like work and seeing family until then). Looks like it will be completed soon
