Since this post I have added
CLE - Cleveland Hopkins
Springfield Branson Airport
Tokyo Haneda International Airport
Zurich International Airport
And today I got stuck in Greensboro Airport
I've ridden a bunch of Mack launch coasters since posting this so why not?
1. Voltron - perfect overall package, but the roughness can be distracting if you're sitting on an edge seat.
2. Ride to Happiness
3. Stardust Racers - both sides deliver a great package overall. Fun, punchy launches...
Single rider lines definitely saved the day when I was there, but only Raging Spirits and the Fantasy Springs rides had it.
Same with their FP, but you have to get there early.
I lucked out and got the rides I wanted to the first day I was there. I camped out an hour before the park opened...
My last new coaster was
Matterhorn Blitz - they definitely didn't need to go all out with the queue animatronics. The ride itself is pretty standard wild mouse fare. I did love the thrill lift instead of a traditional one. The theming puts it over the top for me.
I left Tokyo Disney disappointed, especially DisneySea
Gorgeous park, but it suffers from the same fatal flaw that plagues most of the Disney parks built in that era. There aren't a lot of non E ticket attractions in the park to absorb the heavy crowds the park pulls so everyone and their...
Eejanika - Fuji Q Highland
Phoenix - Knoebels
Skyrush - Hersheypark
Pantherian (Intimidator 305) - Kings Dominion
Fury 325 - Carowinds
X2 - Six Flags Magic Mountain
Voltron - Europa Park - every great theme park needs that one coaster that's head and shoulders above the rest, and Voltron is...
I hit an interesting milestone today
420. Euro-Mir - during my Tokyo Disney trip, I was considering a trip to Germany as an option for summer. Tokyo Disney didn't impress me as much as I had hoped so I wanted to visit a park that could and with Euro-Mir closing down, I really wanted to say my...
I'll be in Atlanta from the 26 (late) to the 28th (late) if anyone wants to come hang out and ride Arie Force, hit SFOG or do one of the downtown attractions with me.
I'll be there with my husband, but he doesn't ride as much as I do.
My last credit was
Takabisha - this ride runs way better than the one in Jersey. That being said, front row still has a few rough spots. I can appreciate the layout more when the ride isn't giving me a headache, but based on my front row ride, I can really only ride this twice before tapping...
Eejanika - Fuji Q Highland - My new number 1. This ride takes the whole X2 formula and refines it. This is a much smoother and more aggressive ride than X2 is. The only real downside is the ride closes early when its crowded (which it definitely was crowded when I was there.
Phoenix - Knoebels...
Start of year
Started with 364 coasters. Finished with 410 coasters with a total of 46 new coasters this year
I added 6 new parks this year and 2 coasters broke into my top 10
Best new coaster: X2
Best new park: Silver Dollar City
Best new dark ride: Monsters Unchained
Favorite new water ride...
Crossed SIlver Dollar City off the bucket list for my birthday this past weekend. Despite the coasters being down for half the weekend due to cold, I still had a blast. This park is one of the best parks in the country from the amazing setting to the elite coaster collection and great food. I...
410. The Branson Coaster - This was the weaker of the two mountain coasters I rode on Sunday. The ride has a decent length but the ride does feel a bit controlled. This is one of the smoothest mountain coasters I've ridden.
409. Runaway Mountain Coaster - The stronger of the two mountain...
