Lmao. This.
The worst park I've ever been to was a Six Flags, SFKK. Everything a park shouldn't be or do. Hopefully it comes back better than it was.

That's the problem. With hands in the markets of KZoo, Grand Rapids, and Muskegon, why should people be willing to travel 3-4 hours to Cedar Point or SFGAm when MiA is within an hour. The park needs some rapid expansion and growth.

Lets also remember that a ride being a classic shouldn't mean that we should keep it around just because it's a classic. These rides become exponentially rougher to ride and more costly to maintain as they age. There are even a lot of ACE Coaster landmarks that should get the axe.

No it's really awful. It's tacky. It screams "we don't make enough money". And personally I see it as defacing the rides for what they're supposed to be.

Definitely most excited for Banshee, but definitely looking to get to SFGAm for Goliath and XFlight. Will be going to Darien Lake too if their Predator makeover happens.

Well it'd be amazing if Cedar Fair would spend even $10 on Michigan's Adventure. They have owned the park for 12 years now, and have NEVER, I say NEVER purchased an original coaster for the park. Every coaster in the park was built before Cedar Fair bought it, and the only "new" ride is the...
Re: Six Flags Mexico | "Medusa Steel Coaster" | RMC Iron Hor
I believe the signage would still read Medusa Steel Coaster, but according to Google Translator this would translate to simply Medusa Acero Coaster.

Re: Six Flags Mexico | "Medusa Steel Coaster" | RMC Iron Hor
Who're you kidding? Medusa Steel Coaster is by far the blandest, edging out New Texas Giant, and Iron Rattler definitely being the best.
Medusa Steel Coaster is on par with naming it Roller Coaster 2.

It's not a hybrid though. The train still rides on wooden rails (with a thin piece of metal where the wheels ride) like every other wooden coaster you've ever ridden. I don't like it anymore than you do, but it's a wooden coaster.

Re: Six Flags America | "Ragin Cajun" | Zamperla Spinning Mo
^Looking at my counter, it looks like I actually only skipped this and their Vekoma family coaster. But since I've been, Goliath makes the 3rd new coaster. So I could've had a total of 5 new credits at the park.

The hell is a zero-g camelback hop reversal? Is that some sort of weirdo yoga position? Or no, that's that new football play, right?

Cedar Fair hands down. This may not be a popular opinion but I really have a burning hatred for Six Flags. I just absolutely despise how they do business.
Not to mention that their biggest customer are 13 yr old tweens. It's obnoxious as hell to go to a park and be surrounded by mostly punk...
Re: Six Flags America | "Ragin Cajun" | Zamperla Spinning Mo
If so, that'll be a shame. It was one of the few creds I missed from GAm, so I won't be able to pick it up on a return to the park next year.

Re: SF New England | "New England Sky Screamer" | Sky Scream
Yeah these rides are a whole lotta NOPE. 400 ft of roller coaster is chill. 400 ft of sitting in a wicker basket attached to a chain? You're batsh!t crazy.

Re: SF Great America | "Goliath" | RMC Woodie
Don't they still call NTG a wooden coaster? I know at least when it was first opened they kept calling it "Steepest Wooden Coaster".
Regardless I guess I do have to get back to GAm now. I missed a few credits when I went there, plus they have 2...
Re: SF Great America | "Goliath" | RMC Woodie
No I agree with you. This may "technically" be a wooden coaster, but I have a hard enough time considering Intamin prefabs to be true wood, let alone whatever the hell these rides are.
