^ The trains travel the same direction. Relative speeds will be pretty low.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

This is one good-looking coaster. :--D
The 'high five' section is a great idea, has to be one of the best dueling elements.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

That banking looks extreme, I'd think you'd be busy rattling around in the car at the time of the "high five".

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

I don't think you guys should take the whole whole high five part literally. I doubt it'd be considered safe for riders to be able to reach the other car. Also, wouldn't you hit that railing in between the two tracks with your hands?

Or have they ever mentioned that the riders will in fact be able to reach each other and to literally make an high five? Otherwise my guess would be that it's just a fancy name. I'd be super stoked if I'm wrong though. :)

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

The trains won't be within reach of each other, no. That's pretty painfully obvious.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

I'm fairly certain Gravity Group confirmed that riders would not be able to touch on the element.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

I'm fairly sure common sense confirms they won't be able to touch each other.

Seriously, WHY are people even debating this? This is retarded...

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

To be fair, I can only see one, admittedly idiotic, person in the last couple of pages who has suggested that riders will actually touch during that element, and that idea has been shot down be pretty much everyone else. Hardly a debate, Heather.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

Somebody's getting his panties in a bunch, obviously.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

Okay, I think everybody gets the point, you won't be able to touch each other. [/end]

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

Gravity Group have posted an update on their Facebook showing off some new pictures:

Also interesting Trips-n-pics report that other coasters for the park include another S&S Launch coaster (I remember seeing a picture of S&S listing it as a current project), and a Maurer Sohne launch coaster? and a Skyloop both of which were supposed to go to Knight Valley.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

I will take donations now to be able to go to China and ride this. Anyone willing to donate?

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

Now that looks like the business! :p

Loving the look of all the track and the high-five. <3

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

I love the double banked turn. Dosen't look like they have much clearence though.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

Those lifthills look very intimidating with how the drops cross over each other. I want some of that a bit closer to me.

Re: High Five - MNV/TGG racing/dueling woodie Happy Valley W

Some park schematics have popped up and a full sized image of the parks concept art.
Click the links for larger versions

If you look at the schematic you can seen the location of the missing Launched X-Car that was expected to be at Knight Valley this year. The concept art makes it look like this ride is undercover. The other 4 coasters are all visible around the rest of the park as well.
