^You never actually saw the reporter die. She just gets dragged of screen by the possessed girl. You just assume she was killed. :)

Yes, because there's clearly a way she would have survived, killed all the other creatures in the building, and got out alive.

That would make sense...

And Taylor, yes, because Blair Witch doesn't end randomly with people stood in the corner doing nothing. That has a simply mindbogglingly crap ending.

But, it relates to the whole storyline. This was about like, a disease and getting bitten, and then suddely ends with a possessed girl in an attic.

... you weren't paying attention, were you?

Maybe if you'd understood what was going on at the end, you would have enjoyed it more

I understood the movie, I just don't get how it went from diseases and biting to someone who was possessed that lived in an attic. It just seems irrelevant.

You didn't understand it then.
If you did you wouldn't be asking that. :p

Saw Wall-E on DVD last night with my little brother and cousin.

I've always been a small fan of Pixar, as their stories and animation were ACE. And this was no exception. From start to finish, it was beautifully done, with 99% of the time not realizing it was all computer animation. The story was cute and had a moral, and several moment were drop dead funny.

Overall and excellent film and Pixar at it's best. If you haven't seen it, DO IT NOW.

10/10

Well, she was being kept in the attic as a 'patient zero', while a cure was being sought.

It then spread to everyone else.

So, essentially, she started it as her isolation was broken.

... it's not that complicated really...

*facepalm*

Because she started to infect everyone else?

She had been kept secret. I don't think there was a huge banner on the front of the house saying "HI, ZOMBIE GIRL IN HERE... COME SEE!". It was only when she started to cause problems elsewhere in the house, as it were, that they were called to investigate.

^ I'm glad I bring you joy, Ollie :p .

Oh well, Blair Witch is still better anyways, but Rec was still good and was definitely better than Cloverfield, by a long shot actually.

Just watched WALL.E for the first time, what a film loved it.

The story the way the film was done was just stunning to watch every thing was just perfect, and yes I cried near the end lol.

Watched a couple recently.

Finding Neverland on DVD first. Jonnie Depp plays J.M. Barrie (the guy who wrote Peter Pan). It's just the story of him failing as a playwright, then having an affair (okay, it suggested he was doing it just for the family and it was all very much above board and all that, but we know the truth ;) ), finding a new type of play from the games he played with the kids.

It was all a bit bland and sugary really. No idea why Depp was cast in it - possibly the only requirement was "looks good in a top hat". I love Depp, but he's a character actor, he excels in portraying over the top. Put him in a simple role and he is just utterly bland and forgettable. Maybe that makes him diverse and superb, but I think that perhaps he';s just crap at doing subtle.

If you want to see a heavily edited version of the story behind the guy who wrote Peter Pan, then I recommend it. Otherwise, I'd not bother.

Last night finally got around to watching xXx on Blu-Ray. What a load of tosh. Utterly fantastic action scenes, looking a bit ropey nowadays, but just mindless tosh. Great fun, and I can imagine it being mind blowing at the cinema, but really dreadful in terms of writing, acting, etc. :)

The Evil Dead:
It was a really funny film. It was so fake and predictable. But it was so bad that it was good and really enjoyable to watch.
6/10 :)

Role Models

I had high expectations for this ever since I watched the previews for it the first time, and it certainly lived up to what I thought it would be! It was just a comedy, nothing absolutely mindblownig, but it had a steady amount of really funny moments, and then some decent jokes in between those. The storyline was pretty different as well, and overall it's definitely worth a watch!

8.5/10
