Spinball Whizzer to Sonic Spinball?

^On Board speakers would be awesome.
I don't even think they'll bother to even paint the track actually. I guess all they're doing is hanging the logo and the artwork on the sides of the cars. If it's themed to Sonic Spinball (which is a game as well) then they've already got a pinball theme so they just need to stick Sonic in a couple of places to pass off the theme for the public.
 
^ Well the supports have been painted, so why not the track. Bare in mind that red is NAAASSTY contrast to the surroundings. haha.


Marc, the age limit was just a discussion that developed from target audiences, meaning sonic would give the kids something new this year because 13 has an age restric. =]

This almost precisely. I think the track will get a full paint and no speakers.

Other than that, I think a few Sonic decals and a "that'll do" attitude. It won't make very much difference at all to be honest.
 
Well I'm quite pleased with this news. A new paint job was needed and it'll make it look a bit better IMO. Looks like 2010 will be a big year for Alton with the addition of Thirteen, Spinball's re-theme and the corkscrews at the entrance.

So the darker blue is the new support colour? What colour will the track be then or will that just be a re-coat of Daker red paint?
 
Have they still got that old Sonic model from Toyland Tours gathering dust in a storage shed somewhere?

I'm gunna sit around hoping it has horribly cheesy voice anouncements that are meant to be the characters.
 
I heard the scenery of Toyland Tours got sold off, but assuming Sonic carries some sort of copyright..

Do you know what would be great, if the drowning music went into the Alton Towers theme tune, it could easily work. cool) If the Alton Towers theme sounded 2000 cheesy pop.
