The Intimidator. B&M Hyper 2010 - Carowinds

I don't believe it is. The difference is that Diamondback's pullout turns a bit and Intimidator's is straight.

I'm loving the colors. I don't know why I like them, because red is so overused, but they look great.
 
This is looking real good, and it's being put up really fast. The colors do look better though because I'm tired of seeing red and yellow. Red and Gray is where it's at. :p

I agree.. Much better than red and yellow.

Back row for sure though, that's gonna be ridiculously ridiculous. I'm getting excited for our trip nowww :D
 
Haha.. the lift hill has been topped for nearly a week. They've been moving along with the 2nd hill this week.

Thankfully, they've added a 2nd webcam along the out version of the layout. That should be a great view when more goes up. There's supports waiting, so by the end of the day we should at least see 1 supports and probably a track piece go up.
 
I'm sure that having the build occur along the edge of the parking lot on perfectly flat ground and the pieces being stored so close is making this a very easy job for the builders.

Behemoth required some tree falling and Diamondback involved a crazy amount of moving dirt and filling in ravines.
 
Just saw the live cam or whatever, but are those cranes or is the first airtime hill finished? CMonster, is that what you meant by first hill, or did you mean the lift hill?

Either way, this looks massive. It's only two feet bigger than Behemoth and Diamondback but it looks a lot taller for some reason. Maybe it's the angle of the cam, who knows.

They're moving along very fast, I'm MUCHO IMPRESSED!

No.. the first airtime hill hasn't even been started.. but that 'turn' or whatever is almost done.
 
Just today, 2 supports, and 2 track pieces have been added, and they're about halfway down the second hill. It's raining right now, but once it clears up, I expect you'll see them heading up hill #3 in a few days.

Yeah, I meant the first "turn" hill part, not the lift hill.

It shows both of them on the website too. That link is just an easier access.

I was watching it earlier and saw that they are about a third of the way done with the twisting drop. It looks delicious as of now.
 
Twisting drop is now either done or a piece away from being done. Can't tell from the web cam. Yay for good construction days.
