The Intimidator. B&M Hyper 2010 - Carowinds

This must mean that they're getting close to building the crossing hammerhead. I can't wait to see it rise.

This is looking really good and is going up so quick. Can't wait to see the hammerhead go up, it looks really cool.

Could be done this Friday, or today if they keep up this rediculously fast pace.

I do wish they'd turn the webcam a bit, though.

Or use the other one they placed, and turn it all the way around.

This is really a spectacular coaster, and the rate it's going up is amazing and I think this will be amazing. The pictures of this thing is stunning and I can't wait to see the final product.

Those pictures are outstanding. Just imagine a train going through them. They haven't shown new photos in a while, and now I can tell why. They look that good.

Wow...

Amazing. Simply amazing.

And the location is so strategic, too. In all things. Construction is a breeze, it looks like they're trying to go for a record or something. Plus, it's a great first look at the park. People pulling into the parking lot, seeing this monster sitting there in all its glory...

Sweet. :)

^ Behemoth isn't the first thing you see going into Wonderland :p . But, you wouldn't know because YOU'VE NEVER BEEN ahahah  . Nah but seriously, you can see it from the parking lot but it's not exactly the most prominent thing because it's on the left of the park, and I wouldn't call it the most strategic placing either since they had to remove a ton of trees and stuff to build it.

It's not so much strategic planning as it is that's the space along the perimeter they had available. Most any coaster requires the removal of trees. These days that's more of a given then an option. As stuff gets bigger there's got to be more room to get the crane and everything in there. Unfortunate, but a necessary side effect of construction

And if you're coming from Toronto, it is the first thing you see. The major entrance from there parallels the entire layout on 2 sides from across the lake. Gives a fantastic view or the ride. Cedar Fair tends to do that with coasters as the first thing you see coming in. Valleyfair's got Steel Venom and Wild Thing to an extend. CW has Behemoth. KD has Diamondback. And now Carowinds will have this.

Wow, first time I've really had a look at the construction for Intimidator and those photos are awesome.

I really like the look at that turn and drop section.

Them pictures look amazing, that turning drop thing looks fantastic and the hills just look brilliant. This is looking to be a great coaster, and it looks even better alongside Afterburn.
