Did they ever manage to fix the lift hill motor noise?

In the main queue it's genuinely so loud that it puts me off queuing for the ride again - I'm sure it can't be working as planned or meeting all the guidelines, it was painfully loud when we went.

Hopefully this will be fixed (or at least improved) during the off-season, or that's just how it is and everyone's going to bring earplugs or noise cancelling headphones.

It was a bit ludicrous. A nice geeky touch to have it on full display (no doubt cheaper too) but my word it was intense when standing near by.

The motor is really annoying when you're in the queue next to it. If they can't make it quieter, I hope they build a sound barrier around it over winter.

Don’t want to get people’s hopes up, but that is the second time Thorpe have posted a video of a backwards POV….. you think they’re hinting at something??

If they are going down the "brave it backwards" route I'll be really interested to see how they handle the queue line logistics. There's practically no spare space and the current setup seems fairly permanent.

In some ways it might be easier to just run both trains backwards for a couple of years.
