To be honest, I thought I had endured more SLCs. Boomerangs are not bad if fitted with new trains, but the old ones, with hard headrests always hurt on the return trip, specially when the train is braked at the station.

I have ridden two SLCs, two Family Suspendeds, two Invertigos, and three Boomerangs.
Even better, I have voluntarily avoided three of those same types of rides!

Just say no kids.
 
A quick count in which I possibly missed some...
7 Boomerangs, 9 SLCs, 1 GIB and an Invertigo.
None of the above were my favourite. Would have got a tenth SLC, but Ednor is spiteful.
 
^me too, the Invertigo formerly at Sommerland Syd.

Lately I skip SLCs completely and do Boomerangs only if they have the new Vekoma trains with vest-style OTSR or even better the lapbar Sunkid train. Always thought that the Invertigo and GIB are much better than the SLC. On the other hand I can always get worse: After riding one of those crap Wild-Wind coasters I had a week of backpains - even the worst SLC *cough* Condor *cough* was not able to do that...

I've only ridden Invertigo at Kings Island. I've met a few people who count Intamin Impulses as Boomerangs but I'm only counting a Boomerang if it's Vekoma made, so in my book, Impulses don't count as Boomerangs.

I am proud to say that I've NEVER ridden a Vekoma SLC (but I've ridden ONE boomerang, unfortunately...). I most likely will ride ONE just to see what all the buzz is about them, but after that ONE experience Ill cross them off my credit hording list just like boomerangs. As far as GIB and Invertigos are concerned, Ill try em and go from there (they seem to be decent rides from what I've heard).
 
I did another Boomerang at Carowinds, Flying Cobras makes it 7 now, wasn't awful, had worse.
