Putting all of these pieces of crap together, I've done 60 (4.5% of the total count).
 
Ive rode 1 BOOMERANG (now dismantled) and 2 SLC (one custom and one shenlin). Ive never rode the standard SLC rig. Luckily for me though the Shenlin was brand new at the time (kumali at flamingo land) and was very pleasant indeed. The custom was Jubilee Odyssey and even rode this brand new but can't really remember it well. However in the last 7 years or so Jubilee Odyssey is very bumpy and rattly and the trains dont seem to last 2 minutes.

Before I came here, I used to average 1 SLC every 4 years. Quite proud of that, I was. I ain't no ho. Same with Boomerangs - I only had 3 of each, see.
This year alone I've added 2 SLC's (Walibi Belgium & Movie Park Germany) AND 2 Boomerangs (Walibi Belgium and Walibi Holland). Not to mention another SFC (Movie Park Germany) and another junior Boomerang (Raik).

I feel the need to go and wash.
 
I was just at Worlds of Fun for the gold pass preview night and i was told by park execs that boomerang and dinosaurs alive will be demolished at the end of the season.... get the cred while you can...... speculations?

It's a shame I don't have the West Midland Safari Park one to add to the list! The Pleasurewood Hills one is the only "Extreme" coaster in the UK that I haven't ridden - I can't bring myself to go all the way to Lowestoft just for another boomerang. Plus it would ruin the W thing.
I actually can pick a favourite here - the trains on the Wiener Prater one are really nice and only have lap bars so that's a clear winner.

  4. Boomerang SFSL/Flashback SFFT: First inverting coaster I did so gets props
  5. Invertigo KI: At least it's kinda different
  6. Zoomerang, Lake Compounce: Best looking boomerang
  7. Sidewinder, Hersheypark: ok
  8. Carolina Cobra: ok
  9. Zoomerang, Alabama Adventure: ok
  10. Boomerang, SFFT: not good
  11. Boomerang, Knotts: bad
  12. Flashback, SFNE: quite bad
  13. Boomerang, WOF: really bad
  14. Goliath, SFNE: absolutely horrendous; more painful than when I split open my leg and got 22 stitches

Ugh... that list we're not so keen to update.

It's all very well updating the B&M count, but come on, people, you have to update the sh*te as well. It goes with the hobby I'm afraid.

2 new Boomerangs - the one at Worlds of Fun and the one at Six Flags St Louis.
The one at Worlds of Fun was actually ok, the paintwork looked fresh and shiny and the ride wasn't too rough.
The one at Six Flags St Louis was gross though. Looked grotty, rode grotty and my word - the jolt when the second lift hill engaged? There's an uncoupling in that ride's future, swear to God.
That brings my total up to 7. Eww.

1 new SLC - T3 at Kentucky Kingdom. To be honest, I don't think they're that bad overall. Some are rougher than others, but in the grand scheme of things, there's much worse rides out there. This is the first one I've ridden with the newer vest restraints, and yeah, I think they're slightly better than the old OTSR's, but not much.
Brings my total up to 6.

Also got my first Invertigo - the one at Kings Island. Again, it was ok, no major issues with it personally. It's a Boomerang crossed with an SLC, what do you expect it to be like??

Got another SFC too - also at Kings Island, which I think brings me up to 4 in total.

The shame, oh the shame.

My heart always sinks when I realise I'm going to a park with one of these horrible creations. Still, a cred's a cred.
A few years back I read somewhere that the least horrible seats on a Boomerang are in row 7. Whether it's true or not I dunno, but that's where I've headed ever since.
