Exactly. If everything was balls-to-the-wall forceful, you wouldn't be able to appreciate the more intense coasters. You just need variety.

Goldstriker was planned back in 2008 I believe. It was halted for some reason. Dick Kinzel's ego? Something like that. :?

They need a world-class woodie. Blue Streak is fun in a non-wheel seat but it's nothing to brag about. Mean Streak is just God-awful. They need a nice GCI. It doesn't have to be record breaking, it just needs to be great. It's by far the biggest gap in their line up.

I think you guys have neglected that most major amusement parks have two or more wooden coasters.

I think the Jersey Shore should probably be up there.

You act like you're speaking for everyone though. Valravn may not be the best choice for a park like Cedar Point, but you act like people are just going to fall asleep halfway through first drop because it's just sooo forceless and boring. There are people who are legitimately excited about this...

I think the real gimmick of the dive coaster the holding brake. The coaster may seem redundant at first glance but it's really going to be different than anything the park already has.

Are they going to build the highest support first or are they going to keep adding track until they get to it?

While I haven't ridden either Demon, I would love to experience one in its "Turn of the Century" layout. I have a soft spot for arrows and apparently the Turn of the Century rides produced some crazy airtime.

Mine is pretty cliche but it's Mean Streak. It's like riding a jackhammer through a pothole filled street during an earthquake that registers at 9 on the Richter scale. The only difference is that at least the simile would be interesting.

I was serious, but I realize I forgot to consider the possibility of flying into the bees. It actually seems more likely on this than it does on Wild Eagle or Thunderhead.

Wouldn't you just fly right past them?
