I noticed Slayed made note of Biffy Clyro's Only Revolutions, and this made me happy, as I too love the album. I got it 3 days early too (HMV pre-orders <3)! For once in an album there isn't a song I don't like. I could easily listen to any of the songs on there over and over. As Slayed said...

Thirteen, Intamin ''psychoaster'' - Alton Towers 2010

I do like the look of this. I just really hope it has the right impact. It needs to look good in the area, and also ride well, but also had re-rideability. I do hope for Alton Towers that it works, because I really do like the place. I guess we'll find out next year :). I am looking forward...

I think the reason that the whole "Alton Hound" think is mentioned is the hoax that took place on some Alton fan sites (TT and ATA I think) a while back. It mentioned that poem in a "clue". That's where it's all come from.

    On-Ride Coaster Effects

I enjoy good on-ride music. Something well paced that fits with the ride. One of the reasons I want to ride HRRR. Sometimes though, a ride doesn't need any effects. It would actually ruin the ride. The Ultimate springs to mind.

    Derren Brown

I turned it on too late, which was a shame. But what I did see was the 'bat man'. That was really impressive. I've never seen something like that done before. Weird, but amazing.....

Okay, to say it was fake may be a little... out there, but it doesn't look at all professional compared to the one I remember seeing photographed on the KD giga. It just seems weird that Intamin would put a label like that on. I can accept what you both are saying though, it's a replacement...

New Muse album is pretty epic imo. Some really different stuff in there than normal Muse, but that's not a bad thing. The new Biffy Clyro cd is out 9th November, really looking forward to that, anyone not heard them before check them out (especially before Puzzle). Also, Them Crooked...

This kinda confuses me..... If Alton want to advertise the ride as including a world first, but then want to keep that element a secret, how are they gunna advertise it? They want it to be a surprise, but to do that they have to not advertise the feature. It's not like Air or Blivvy, where...

If you go onto the ticket booking page, then click on the Annual Pass section, there's an option for "Annual Pass Guaranteed Entry". As far as I can see that's what you'll need :--D .

Fairground ride terror-restraints work and ride doesn't fail

Well she obviously knew better than the people who's job it is to operate the thing  ...... Sure, it's fine for a mother to be worried about her child, but how would she know whether it was safe or not. From what I've taken from it, she wasn't even on the ride! Edit: My bad, I...

    Best guitarist

Could not agree more. And to play how how does after what he went through in his addiction period is amazing. And barely anybody has heard his solo stuff. He has so much passion. From the list I would have to say Hendrix.

Vekoma or getting hit by a car?

The car would be an experience, but would I do it? No. Vekoma please!

    Joining the Dark Side.

I'd say a rapids ride would be better than a log flume. I think that the spinning would create a far more out of control experience, and they don't rely on drops as much as the logs. Any spinning ride or coaster would be quite good in the dark actually.

    Islands of adventure

I prefer it to Universal Studio's by far. You should definately do it if you're in Orlando. I don't know how you can say it doesn't have many rides though. I can't really compare it to Busch Gardens, only went like 5 or 6 years ago before I got into coasters. But you should definately go...

^I was stood on the left too, I didn't see anyone in a CF hat though.... And I agree, the surge at the start was amazing. We moved so far to the right we ended up just a few metres away from the runway in the middle.

I saw AC/DC at Wembley last night. And it was god damn amazing. I was stood towards the front near the middle. The crowd was amazing, never stood still for the 2 or more hours they were on-stage. The Answer and The Subways were supporting. Subways were meh. Never been called a "Sexy...
