Well, obviously not the concrete itself, but more the process of constructing them to keep all that steel track in place. :P But it makes sense that the track would cost more than anything else.
I've never been scared of flying. My first flight was around 10 months and I've flown pretty regularly since then. The only thing now is my legs are too long and it's uncomfortable. :(
But I still like taking off and looking out the window! :P

Aren't footers some of the most expensive parts of a coaster to build? I think it would make a lot more sense to share footers where possible to really cut down on costs, like in the pictures posted earlier.
In my experience, large groups seem more willing to wait longer than just a couple of people, as I waited 3.5 hours for the Incredible Hulk at IoA, something I'd NEVER do otherwise. :P Yeah, I think that's the longest.
