Recognize that all employees you find working on the midway go to the exact same rumors sources enthusiasts do.
Where you able to grab any photos?
I was aware that they followed the same sources we did I heard nothing that we haven't speculated yet. Only thing I did hear that we hadn't discussed was a Diamondback queue attendant that said that it would have a helix and a corkscrew, but given that I had to explain to her the difference between the two elements, she PROBABLY wasn't that reliable...
Dirt and concrete blocks in dirt photo time!
Stuck this through the fence to take it
To the back you can see them pour a second triangular footer
They put these "No Camping" signs on some of the trees between the path and the fence. I asked a path sweep who said that they were part of the same thing.
More dirt! Look at the queue tunnel for Adventure Express in the back ground. Down and a bit left of it is that second triangular footer.
Rebar!
Close up on Clydewell, the official name of the second triangular footer (yes, I named it. Problem?)
Let's set up camp here! (seriously, sneak a tent into the park and set up a really elaborate campsite complete with a fire pit and everything right here and you have officially become my favorite person)
I took another picture because the first one was a tad blurry.
Footers!
Me being a goon by the construction wall
You can kind of see some footers in the background of this picture, but nothing earth shattering. But seriously, ride Flight Deck and Adventure Express. I came pretty close to sneaking my camera onto Flight Deck to photograph from that angle. The whole thing is on a large, grassy hill that comes after a small dip behind the dirt area we've seen. Also, my cousin and my sister dragged me on Drop Tower against my will and my dad didn't get my text and call the cops in time, so I got to see it from there. You probably get the best view of it from there, but knowing our luck they turned us facing the parking lot at the top of the tower.
People working on Clydewell!
Overview of the wall of doom
Another wall shot
New rule: the wall's name is Stan.
MAN Stan's huge
Pardon my stupidity, but I saw these round footers in line for Adventure Express. Were these from Son of Beast or are they Banshee?
They look pretty new but there is that clearance sign on the one. Sorry for being so stupid about this, I'm just not sure.
A bit of the construction site through Adventure Express's queue bridge
Dirt access road!
Bye bye, water tower!
Y'all owe me HUGE for this next group of photos! I went on Eiffel Tower and took these! AND I'M AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!!! I had to grab my cousin's arm to feel safe walking far enough out to photograph this!
Clydewell is behind Sling Shot but you can still see him. The two big triangular ones look pretty close to each other, though. My thought was that the large invert would have a drop shaped similar to Raptor's where it's more of a turn and drop than a dive, and this could definitely support that.
Footers and Flight Deck!
Construction site overview
Best shot I got all day. You can see the entire construction site from here. That grassy stripe over by Flight Deck's turn is on a hill even though it's hard to see, and a pretty big hill to boot. This spot is pretty terrainy and I think KI might play on it.
So that's my first (very long) construction update, but I hope I did that right! Let me know if I didn't! I might not have noticed Clydewell before but if he isn't new I'm sure those "No Camping" signs are.
