Kolmården's Djurpark | Wildfire | RMC Wooden Coaster

And I know it's in a quarry but I figure this deserves a mention:

Also Voyage doesn't go into rockwork does it?

New video:

So the lift and drop will be like Goliath(GAm)'s, with the steel structure, which is now on site P.S, the lift/drop structure was manufactured by Vekoma.

Vekoma might make it into people's top tens for once. :p

Well the look will definitely change of the lifthill. Of course, Goliath is still sexy so it's ok.

Very interesting regarding the Towers, i dug out this pic of the rendering which looks to include some of the metal structure, specifically below the track on the lift and the drop, with a couple of supporting pieces up the main lift.
So does this mean the entire lift structure will now be metal like Goliath or stick to this render?

Oh god, I can only imagine the possibilities with the lighting on this thing! <3
Anything other than massive flames licking the structure will be a disappointment cool)

I never noticed the steel in that structure you know, I really hope they keep the wood cause that is gorgeous.

Goliath is ugly as ****. But I'll survive cause it's all about how it rides.

I only noticed it in the rendering after watching the towers video, just shows how excellent that rendering actually is.

Looking at the picture of the wooden support structure with the yellow highlights a few pages back, it's worrying that there is none of that around the lift structure, indicating that it's not required due to the steel towers. The rendering supports that theory too, as the wood doesn't act like a supporting structure, and is directly below the track, unlike most wooden support structures.
Even though it may not be technically required, I hope they still build the wooden trusses connecting the steel structure as it will look a million times better than just a Goliath skeleton lift, especially in the setting.

I was in two minds whether or not to post this one as it's a bit rubbish compared to the others.
Train comes in one way and goes out the other, cheers Damien :salut:

Newest video concerning the lift motor.

I also saw a response to a comment on Instagram, the park are aiming for a mid June opening date.

Love the wood/steel combo in those renderings. I am a huge fan of trestles however, so I don't even mind the straight steel look.

I've given up with these videos until they start installing track. I think its a really neat idea but you can tell they are really struggling for content now. Its just making me more impatient to ride!

Track was due to arrive in Sweden this week, and they were planning on having the lift up this week as well, so maybe 1 more content light video before we see a partially completed lift hill and track installation vids.

I can't wait for their next video named "Building Wildfire - Episode 23: Here's A Bucket Of Bolts".
